Creating Art (Hakata Doll Style)

What fun! Today, we hid from the heat and humidity at the wonderful Hakata Ningyo Kaikan and while we were there, we created works of art. The munchkins could choose from an assortment of unpainted Hakata dolls, use some brushes and special paint and give them life! I saw two roosters, a golden dog, an adorable girl wearing a kimono, a mischievous monkey and a cat with great smile. All of the kids did such a fabulous job painting them and absolutely everyone wanted to return!
