Grass Heads!

For our last Summer School day before we head into the Obon break, we made grass heads! Similar to “Chia Pets”, but with this craft, we make everything from scratch. First we decorated the pots, then we stuffed the stockings with dirt and seeds. At last we made the grass head faces. Each head came out in a funny shape and size, and towards the end, the classroom was filled with laughter. What a fun craft this was. I can’t wait to see what all the heads are going to look like when the grass grows! Have a fun and safe Obon break and I’ll see you guys soon!
