Today, our third graders threw on their aprons and prepared their own sweet pumpkin desserts. Given only the ingredients, our elementary school chefs fixed up every aspect of their delicious delight. This includes following the cooking directions, choosing ingredients, cracking eggs and using (while carefully monitored) an electric mixer to make their sweets complete.
Not only are our students fully capable of doing all the prep, they do it with maturity and confidence that would make a top-chef proud… and while speaking English!
