We rarely get to feature some of the older kids that come to this school, so I’m going to break that cycle with a fun craft they got to make.

Most children are familiar with the story, The Three Little Pigs, a beloved story involving a wolf, pigs and houses. Today, they got to experience this themselves. They enjoyed coloring not only the pigs but also all three of the houses, the kids jumped right in with a combination of pencil crayons and markers, adding their own flair to the story. Then comes assembly, peeling the double-sided tape and placing them in the correct area by observing the example craft is very important to the success of this craft. After all that work, it is time for the most important part… playing with it!

With a huff and a puff, can you blow the houses down? The last pig can be a little cheeky.

All the kids did a fabulous job with all the steps, and we had a hard time stopping them from playing with their version of a classic story. I must say it also brings a smile to my face hearing them say, “Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin!”
